Preparing for Success
New Student Orientation at 91´«Ã½ prepares incoming students for academic and co-curricular success, through a holistic and ongoing process throughout the first-year experience. Student leaders, faculty, and professional staff partner to ensure a welcoming, informative, and enjoyable experience for students and their families, through which they will make meaningful connections and become integrated into our University's particular intellectual, social, and cultural climate.
New Student Orientation also provides a shared experience for all new students, while allowing each student to make the experience personal based on his or her needs, wants, and goals as they transition to our University.
At Orientation you will:
- Meet with academic advisors
- Learn about University services
- Make connections and socialize with other incoming 91´«Ã½ students, current 91´«Ã½ students, and professional staff
- Become familiar with our beautiful, ocean-front campus
- Become immersed in the intellectual, social, and cultural climate of 91´«Ã½
- Learn what it means to be a Nor'easter
